My speedo cable is kinked so speedo no workie, as this is car is new to me i don't have any idea how fast i'm going. Well except for I think i'm going at X mph.
Does anyone have mph charts for gear & rpm for a 74 5speed?? Alternatively whats the max speed per gear. Or 1000rpm = X mph in X gear |

Figure 60 mph in 5th is 2800rpm and 70 is 3300rpm

depends too much on knowing for sure your transmission ratios and your final drive ratio (although anything but 7:31 is rare...) mostly, it depends A LOT on your tire size.
buy or borrow a handheld GPS... |
