Ok, tomorrow I change my oil and I'm going to take the oil strainer cover off for the first time. When I put it back on...do I use any gasket sealer on the new gasket or just put it on dry and torque? What do I torque it to?
I'm also installing a new temp sensor...I can look up into that little hole on the cover and see that the insides of the sensor are missing! So, when I remove that cover (I have a new seal)...do I put any type of sealer on that? What should the torque settings be for the new sensor and then the cover bolts? Thanks as usual....Jim |
