Thanks for all this info.
Im a new 914 owner and trying to learn. This thread is so relevant for me. I'm having issues getting into 4 and 5. Very easy to hit the reverse grind on the 1 - 2 shift but 2 -3 is bang on. Newly acquired car to me and the PO put a Weltmeister on it. Thinkin about going back to stock if I can't clean up these shifts. Spring is quite resistant to push left into reverse and 1st, no spring resistance to push to 4 or 5. Does anyone have any pictures of the process to adjust? Or is it pretty evident and accessible, and actually just a quick in driveway adjustment? Anything to worry about like a spring releasing when I try and access or anything? Thanks so much |
