#2 has no compression and the leakdown test says Rings. The rest are perfect. Lets hope it just rings, but since this is my first 914 rebuild I am going to take my time... I wonder what else I can do while the engine is out? Besides everything... SS Fuel Lines, body work, new anything I can place my hands on...
I was getting some stuff from http://www.tangerineracing.com. Seals and some reducer pipe for the fuel pump. And I saw this: ![]() It's an Axle Support Tool and it totally rocks. The picture is the tool on my car. Now I can easily move my car from place to place without worrying about those axels spinning in all directions. best $140 I have spent. Thanks Chris at tangerineracing.com |
