Car wouldn't crank tonight. Put the charger on it for a while, still no crank, got impatient....

The new battery going in is the mighty little Odyssey PC680... Thought I'd jump it. BAM! Instant crank.

Guess I better get that rusto work done and give this little girl a solid home. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Just thought I'd share the pic because it looked funny to see jumper cables on the dinky battery that cranked the dead car to life with vigor.

I've used these (or similar) on turbo 4 cyls for years:

Low compression requires low amps (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Yep, I ran batteries from computer UPS in my plane. Started the 0-320 fine. Light, cheap and you could turn 'em upside down. But when they die they don't give you much warning.
