From the comments section: "The engine in this car is a 2808cc 6 cylinder with carbs. Nothing too special - stock rods and steel valves with a liitle head work."
He has a few other videos posted all from 2003. This one has a couple nice passes where 911s brake way before he does so he cruises on by (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Here is a more recent video... from 2012.
"Onboard video at Porsche 914 GT on Lime Rock Park (Rennsport Reunion). Driver is Keith Peare. Nice podium battle between 914 GT-4R and 911RS. "

Makes you wonder what the big attraction is to the 911.....oh that's right it's not a VW (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Great video, thanks for sharing.

Oh Yea! Keith Peare... I've seen him several times at Summit Point Motorsports Park (PCA Potomac Club Race). Let's see if I can dig up a couple of my photos of him and his car(s)...

Makes you truly appreciate the folks that work out of a tight space, small lift dimensions but incomparable skills.

Damn, reminds me of one other young cat who needs to finish his new Masters at Penn and start developing his driving skills.

Maybe get these 2 together for cross-mentoring?

Knock, knock - Anklebiter?

Plymouth57?

Eric - introduce these 2 Astronauts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
