So I got the car running and doing the fine adjustments. First the headlight buckets were set at 180 degrees wrong. Off put the headlights up and on put them down. Got that fixed ASAP.

Then I came to the issue of that headlights on do not illuminate on low beam. I traced it to the high beam/flasher switch and it's sensitivity. If I wiggle it around I can get them to illuminate, but must hold it in the correct position. So obviously a contact issue.

High Beams work great, just flip it forward and BAM there is light.

Left turn position does not cancel, but flashes. So need to figure that as well.

Before I dive into this; What am I looking at and what are my options? I've searched the prior posts and didn't find anything directly related to SIX assemblies. Thought maybe someone could help who's been here before.

Thanks in advance.

No advice anywhere? Anyone have some pictures of the assembly that I can see?

Someone has had to have taken one a part or tried to clean, lube, or destroy in the past.

Input is needed on this project. I've just learned that my headlights on low beam don't have a good contact at the switch, they work intermittently and until I get better lights there will be no low light or night driving.

tech tip 658 (AA)"if the turn signals do not cancel, you have one of 2 problems: the steering wheel horn contact rim or steering wheel is on upside down; or, the two canceling fingers in the turn signal switch are broken. the later entails replacement of the switch.".

check the wheel first i guess. did the cancel work when you bought the car?
i hope for your sake it's the wheel.
