Assuming the flywheel is within specification would you consider it junk or still usable?

Teeth aren't broken off, so it should be good to go. Bendix gear wasn't meshing deep enough or not retracting far enough. Should have made one hell of a noise.

The ring gear can be machined off and a new one welded in if you are so inclined.

Thanks Slits, I purchased this 901 flywheel as seen for my six conversion and was told it would be OK but was gun shy just the same.
