My shift lever in the 75 is vibrating at certain RPM's ...What's worn out and causing the problem...Is something lose or worn or both under the shifter...

New bushings in the back and at the firewall...

2-OH!

I chased mine for a while. I checked and fixed all the usual suspects to no avail. It turned out to be the nut on my inside rear trailing arm was slightly loose.

worn tranny or motor mounts can cause excessive vibration, so check the rubber mounts ont he tranny tail, and on the motor mount cross bar. You are ont he right track with new bushings also.
