New video from Saturday.
Tires are hooking up well but I still think my 2.2 engine needs tuning (carbs). On back straight there is a lot of rev-limiter, I couldn't find a good place to shift back down so I left it in second. Earlier runs with 3rd gear weren't great. mskala 914-6 Autocross 7/21/12 Enjoy while it's up. It's a small free storage site so I don't keep these up forever, I replace with something else. I put stuff here rather than any 'video' site because they re-compress the video and you can't see any of the damn cones ahead any more. Mark S. |

Very cool! Nice run. What are you using to collect acceleration data and speed?

Very cool! Nice run. What are you using to collect acceleration data and speed? Thanks. This is a system I developed, it does not need any editing or anything. The cameras are anything non-hd, I use bullet cams. The box takes the camera inputs (up to 4) and has internal 3-axis +/- 9G accelerometer and real-time clock. Optionally connect a 'gps mouse' which runs 5Hz for speed, altitude, coordinate data. Record on any recorder non-hd. Was sold by datatoys.com, not sure if they have any more as more serious folks have gone to hd and internal digital recording. |

I'd love to have the same system in my car for events. Having things like altitude would be so cool for hill climbs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
