I need to replace my sway bar mount bushing in the rear. There is a lot of play and they are almost forty years old. The product note says to slit on one side to fit around bar. My question is this: Where should I slit for optimum fit and performance? Here is picture of sway bar mount bushing from Pelican Parts
I am also replacing my Rear Sway Bar Drop Link Bushings while I am down there. Attached image(s) |

One the horizontal side as pictured. . doesn't matter what side, as you can turn them around when you mount them. . just not on the top or bottom as they are thrust surfaces/ /
