Well my little fix up here and there to get the car running has gotten deeper, as I knew it would' Does anybody have a source for the correct color for the ECU?

I wire-brushed and painted one a light gray. I wasn't concerned about originality - just didn't like the rusty look.
I believe the original finish was some sort of zinc or cad? plating (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) You might ask in the originality forum too. |

I think some of the remanufactured ECU cases were painted gray.

Thank You Guys very much,
I had removed the Gray Paint (probably a rebuilt unit then?) and detailed it with a fine wire wheel. So I'll just clear coat it. No I'm not going for concourse, that is a pain in the behind, just wanted to look clean that is all. John |
