what is the *correct* backspacing for the four lug that will allow the use of a 205/50/15 without rolling the rear fender lips?
or what are the ones that will work? KT |

The chart didn't help. Thanks, anyway. I think it's for *real* Porsches, with five bolts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif) KT |

Correct backspace is about 120mm +- 5mm (4 bolt or 5 bolt). But a little more backspace is helpful when trying to fit 7" wheels.

So, just a hair over 4.5 inches?
I have access to some aluminum rims that are 4-4.125 inches . They'll rub, huh? KT |

Actually closer to 4.75"
4.125" is VW bug territory. The infamous Riviera's mostly have a 4" backspace. You won't fit a 205 tire on those without some fender pulling (and then some). Demick |

QUOTE(acox914 @ Oct 24 2004, 11:48 AM) get a 1/4 inch spacer - DONE Spacers are the equivalent of even less backspace, so it will make the fit even worse. Demick |
