while looking a a weber 40 for some jetting sizes for hotshoe i unscrewed the brass nut on the bottom of the fuel inlet. if you're running carbs and are chasing persistent problems with little or no success i suggest you check the screens that may or may not be inside of the fuel inlets. best checked on a cold engine as there will prob be fuel in the inlets. hope this helps someone. i'm soaking the brass screen in some lemon juice to see if the screen cleans up. if this works i'll post another picture. i squeezed these 2 out of the camera just before the bat died.
