Any recomendations on shops in the C Springs area I can tow my '76 914 to see if someone can get it to run?
Had rough idle when I got it but it ran; did the following and it wont even sputter. Actions Taken and Parts Replaced 1976 914 2.0 Cat Converter Exempt 1. NEW Throttle Body 2. NEW Throttle Position Switch 3. NEW Injectors 4. NEW Pressure Regulator 5. NEW FI Injection Trigger Points 6. NEW Distributor point breaker plate 7. Rebuilt MPS (Manifold Pressure Sensor) 8. NEW cap, rotor, plugs, coil and wires 9. NEW CHT (cylinder head temperature) sensor 10. NEW manifold boots and gaskets; new vacuum and fuel hoses The Apt manager says get it running or get it sold....I have limited capabilities to do much more work here, so am now at point where I am willing to spend a few hundred if I need to to get it running.... |
