McMark is going to put the new flares on. He will also be widening the 11 inchers if we need additional clearance for the Gotti/Avon wheel / tire combination.

Getting closer to being back out there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Painted the clear and it actually looks OK.

In my zealousness to get a mirror finish I ended up with a couple of nice runs, but will sand those out tomorrow, then hit them with clear again.

Paint dried quickly, so sanded out the runs and re-sprayed the clear.

Didn't turn out badly. With a little color sand it would be very nice, but hey, this is a race car, so the flares go on tomorrow..

A tad bit lower every year but not quite dragging yet. The back went south on me about two months ago and ain't never come around so I'll need to go see if the pros can tell me something I wanna hear or if it will take some cuttin'. I'm taking my time though and it isn't helping the situation none. All in all its been better than some and still fun. You on the mend? Randy's getting serious on us here, huh? 222 looks wicked and man it goes like stink. We are gonna have some fun next season.

Hey Randal? You going to make it to the last LPR event of 2012?

Should have the front tires next week in time for Medford.

Flare painting came out OK. Learned a bunch.

Other than blowing my transmission while fooling around on that back road hillclimb of mine, I don't recall any 2012 driving of 746.

Maybe I did a track day early in the year, but I can't remember.

Your an organizer Trekkor....

Set up a Saturday event on the beautiful hill climb section next to your house.

Or if the Napa folks don't respond, organize a Tuesday PM event, but don't invite anyone except us 5 of us hill climb boys. The winner get to buy lunch at that great cafe down the road.

Hell, we only live once.

I've never done any hillclimbs but I wanna join in on this one. Heck, how much could the ticket be? Also, only one of us gets the ticket so we can split the fees. Ha ha ha
