The planning team would like to thank all those who braved the dreary damp Saturday for attending the 2004 Fall Foliage Classic. We are honored by your presence. We had folks who travelled many, many miles to be there. These states were represented, and represented well, I must say: Minnesota, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana as well as Winnipeg, Canada.

The car show was held in the never ending rain, and the voting was very close. The tech quiz (Thanks DD & Lawrence) was a bear! Will & Lynne Lutman showed off their 914 knowledge, while Cheryl challenged Jay and proved that she knew as much as she did! Oh, we have someone in the crowd that torques their oil sump to 329 ft/lbs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) If you're gonna miss, miss big!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

We found out food delivery/ordering/cooking can be a problem in Columbus, gotta work that out for next year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Probably for the first time, and hopefully for the last, we had to cancel the Twisty Tour Saturday afternoon. It was just too wet and dangerous. We gathered a group of 7 cars (6 teeners & a bad ass 3.2 TT) to do the Twisty Tour Sunday morning. The weather was beautiful and the Tour went off without a hitch! Thanks to those who hung around! I've come to the conclusion that 914 people really are the best people. Event after event the best folks seem to show, the new faces, the spouses, the guys you met at the last event, or last year, or before are what make these events fun. I was so happy to see so many of the wives & girlfriends show up, too. We even had a couple of young teeners come to the event, Kelly Manley and Mark Bland brought their boys with them.

We've got a special award for our founder, Bradholio. Pic to be posted soon.

Lastly, but definitely not the least. We had incredible support from our sponsors who selflessly donated $ and prizes to make this event happen. Please let them all know how much we appreciate their support.

Great turn out with lots of great people. Tons of great support from sponsors. Can't wait for next year.

We can rebuild it. We have the technology. Bigger, better, faster, twistier....drier hopefully? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
