Go find Junction Creek Road..... watch the reducing radius turns on your way back down, or you will end up "way down". It is dirt, but it is smooth. It is awesome - especially in a rally car (or in my case, a rabbit GTI).

I did my undergrad in DGO. At the time, we had the most active SCCA group in the region. There are some serious car guys down there and in Farmington. If you are interested in if they are still at it, see if you can locate Rick or Marchell Fletcher. They would know for sure.

Find out when bike (motorcycle) week is and plan a vacation somewhere else. It's a mess/sucks when that is going on. (unless you are into that sort of thing).

You will love it down there. I would love to go back.

When I was in Colorado once, someone told me that Kansas was going to build a scenic highway. It is called a tunnel.

Ignacio Bike Week was last weekeend over the Holiday - yes it was crowded - but I live in the North Valley so it was nice up here. Lots of bikes/trikes making their way up to Silverton and Ouray - cool to watch from my back deck. (faces HWY 550).

Hi Joe,

They are Cragar 365's.

There was discussion last week on them here: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...c=193210&hl

Let me know if you need more information.
