Hi all,

I have a '72 914. I am assuming its a 1.7 but I don't know what - if
anything - has been done to it. The guy I bought it from claimed that
the engine had been rebuilt. Two questions:

1. What can I expect from a 1.7? any way to find out if its been bored
out? it really feels pretty torquey.

2. Its been converted to dual Webers and is absolutely swallowing gas.
Any idea what the optimum jetting is for this configuration?

Cheers,
Jason
