I have a 914 1976 2.0. Unfortunately there is an issue with the muffler, and I'm forced to replace it. I'm wondering if an original stock muffler and catalytic converter OEM German part part off of a '75 1.8. Will it fit? price 800.00

Kinda hard to fit the "banana" muffler to an exhaust system that takes the cat and dual mufflers.

Bursch manufactures a 1975 muffler setup that allows you to fit the cat converter. Ref is BX 1433.
