I have need of a working '80-'83 911 O2 sensor control unit, ECM, ECU, whatever you wanna call it. I'm putting an engine in an earlier 911 and the engine I bought lacks this part. Gotta have it for smog! I figure these must be somebody out there in 914 World who has one, or who knows where I can find one. Locating one would make my day! Porsche part number 911.617.103.01. Bosch part number 0 280 800 006. Other numbers (ending in "037" and "055") may work. Have to check that tomorrow.
Thanks, The Cap'n

Will a universal O2 sensor work? I think there are fours different types of them.

1980 only, 49 state version. Note the "931" part number. A great price, "IF" it's the one I need. Thanks! I'm checking on that with the dealer.

What year is your motor?

You may need the later one that starts with 911 for an 81-83sc!
