I am looking for the nylon/plastic clamps (and plastic pins that hold the clamps in place) that hold the fuel lines to the lower external firewall, and in the engine compartment, right side. I need 3 (at least) but would like a few extras just in case one breaks.

Is there a VW part equivalent out there?

See picture below for part clarification.

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Jim,

Knowing how VW crossed used so many parts between the 914 and VW's (such as door strikers, etc.), I can only assume they used these clips elsewhere. I'm hoping someone on this forum may know. Anyone??

There is a like 911 part but I cannot tell what it really looks like from the picture in the PET. It's 911.356.543.01. I ordered 3 from AA. I'm interested to see if they are even close in size and function. They are a cheap experiment at $1.31 each. I'm trying to keep the parts for my restore correct so I'm not sure I would use them if they weren't REAL close. But for those who are looking for a good replacement, they may work.

I will let you know what I find out.

Greg

Hi Guys,

If Mikey wants to reproduce these items, I'll donate my new ones, or $20.00 each.

BTW: When I purchased NOS ones from the Porsche dealer the center round shaft is black & the original ones had the same color clear shaft. I suggest any repo's all have the same color like from the factory.

Tom

UPDATE: I just spoke to Mark (Mikey) and he is interested in making these clips. I will get a sample to him early next week. I don't know how long it will take to get them setup for production. I will update this post and let you know when I know more. Stay tuned.

Oh, and by the way, THANKS MARK for keeping us in pretty reproduction parts!
