Tips for reducing weight? there must be 100's of tricks you racers have used to reduce weight, care to pass a few on.
For what its worth i'm a newbie to this lightening game so have considered this lot for my 50/50 track/street car. GRP body panels. Lexan side & back windows Strip interior carpets, backpad, radio Remove blower motor & hoses Switch heat exchangers to straight headers Replace seats & runners with GRP & solid mounts Drilling panels |

Don't forget to remove the tar from the inside...that's a few good lbs right there. Not sure but maybe removing the seam sealer from the front/rear trunks might help a bit (if you are into saving ounces). Remove the windshield washer system, run a smaller battery.

Ditch EVERYTHING you don't need to either sit in the car or make the car move
Drilling holes looks cool, but it's a lot of work with very little gain (or loss (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)) |

I've been sick with shingles, lost 30lbs in 3 weeks....I wouldn't recommend a shingles diet plan though.
