My next project arrived covered in mud from its transport through a snowstorm. Thanks to Michael for a smooth sale transaction.

Car got a good bath and now I will do a full review to build parts list and project timeline. Cant wait to get started. First to go will be the snow tires!!

Plan will be a refresh, not restore. This car does not need full restore. Thorough cleaning, replace anything missing, worn or non-operational, and put it back as close to OE as possible.

Then, off to auction.

Nice! Awesome color. One of the best ever. For some reason I think changing those rims out to stock non-chrome ones would make a big difference. And the front turn signals.

Not that it looks bad now...

Not sure what to do about wheels. I have a nice set of Mahles here. Might use those.

I do need to research wheels. I believe these may be factory optional. I do recall seeing a dealer brochure showing chrome with moon caps as an option.

If you do decide to go with different wheels, I'll buy those! Those are exactly what I've been looking for.

Are the wheels full chrome? IF so, let me know if you want to sell them. Thx!

I decided to keep these wheels as my research shows these were available on cars new. I am waiting on COA but I suspect this car was purchased with optional 5.5 wheels which at the time would have been available in chrome with stainless hubcaps.
This car is mechanically sound but cosmetics will need a refresh. Lots of things are there and ready to go. All panels line up properly. Won't take long to get her looking new.

Oly was a one of a kind. This one is a little rougher. But no bad news.

If you "off" the snow tires and a southwester blows through, how will you get to the...
Beach
Golf course
Lawn bowling grounds
?
