Your #2486 falls between my #2347 6/70 BD and #2526 6/70 BD. According to the VIN DB the 6/70 build dates and the 7/70 build dates falls between #2526 6/70 BD and # 2567 7/70 BD. This would make your #2486 a 6/70 BD 914-6.
Dang, don't I feel like a lazy sack of... Thanks!!!

Okay, no reason to delay - looks like I get another Christmas present! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Bitchen it is! .... errr .... they are!

Andy,

I can't get to my 914's front trunk to do the VIN rubbing you need, since my wife's "new" trailer is blocking the drive for now.

However, I do have pix galore of all VIN stampings, plates & stickers + Chassis numbers stamped & Karmann plate...& you've seen my car before....

...would those pix work for what you need to do an order?

.....or should I wait until I move the trailer over to it's future parking spot (long story & list of steps/projects to that) until I order my sticker?

Also, am I supposed to get the black blank sticker for you, or are you supplying them now?

Sorry I'm out of the loop, but I've been buried with work, the resto of our 88 Westy + trailer & house stuff, plus our son visiting & now leaving for A-stan, & other family stuff going on.

So I'm not up to speed on the status of how this finally worked out, but the end product looks superb! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

We have improved the process and added trimming of the outer edge of the decal so now its a peel and stick operation once you receive your decal. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I also posted a new link in the first post for the new, easier order form. All available decals have a D number assigned for selection.

Thanks

Andy,

I'm still waiting.

You agreed to send the second one with delivery confirmation. It has not arrived. I mailed my check and paper work to you in December.

Have you gone back to the post office with the delivery confirmation to find out where it went?

Are these still being produced? I would love to order one, but don't know if Andy is still making them. Andy, are you still doing these? I sure hope so. Has anyone heard from Andy lately? Thanks.

I have VIN 9140432125 but my COA does not have the production date. I can't find a listing of VINs and dates anywhere. Is there anyone out there with a VIN near mine that can provide a date?

I need one of these stickers as well.

I need one of the compliance stickers. How does one place an order? How do you want funds? How about the validation of the car vin number punched into the sticker? What else do you need from me?

I really would like one made up for my car.
