Working on freshening the fuel tank area of our '71 and would like to replace these as they are pretty tatty looking and less than sound at the ends. It looks as if one or the other is either NLA or $100+ if it is. What are people using in their place? Any special considerations?

I got two new ones from Pelican Parts, but they had to come out of Germany. This was a couple of years ago.

No longer available. One option is to have Classic Tube bend some up in SS or Steel. Have them put the flare on the end for the master cylinder end.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) SS or steel if you can't find new. I've seen it replaced with fuel hose on 914's and Bugs and I cringe every time.
