You cut gas burners? Careful welding them. They're magnesium.

Yeah - well, i can't remember all of the stuff that goes on 'round here.

Anyways, them gas burners is hard to come by. Not sure I would have the balls to cut them.

$99 clip1 aluminum. left wheel pieces from Bovy 4lug mahles .
So the outer lip is real mahle aluminum.
I have welded my share of mag cases and transmissiom housing..
I wouldnt weld a magnesium wheel.

if you look through hotvws magazine ads at safeway there are TONS of swell repros available these day. 5 lug, 4 lug, old school. priced right. exspensive OEM units and a refinish or a new repros and an all new suspension?

jeff, do you have to heat treat the wheels after the sectioning and weld up?
