So is that wheel a widened replica, a widened original wheel or a replica that can be ordered in the extra wide width? Just trying to plan for the future as I know I want a set of gas burners for my six but it would be nice to get something a little wider than the stock 5.5" wheel as my 2nd set of wheels for the car. I already have a number matching set of deep sixes from '71 that may be going to Harvey after the first of the year

Does look very nice. Do you have a weight? What did it or would it cost to have a set of reproductions widened?

The wheels are 89.95 at cip1 VW parts, they weigh in at 18lbs.
Lets see ??
sand blast
doner backs
machining for match
welding
maching
hand work corners
sand blast agian
paint or powder coat
about $400 labour each for these.
5 lug Fuchs about half...way easier.

Not a Quote, just a guesstimate. I did them for myself.

The tire in the pics is a 205/55x15 ES 100

Great looking wheels! Your talents are even more impressive in making these.

Are they painted or powder coated? What is the color?

The donor for these was the rim pieces I cut from making jon bovy's 4 lug mahles using prmade DOT approved barrels, The paint is duplicolor silver wheel piant.
I was anxious to get one on a 914.
