Lemme guess, he turned on his windshield wipers and it caused his heater motor to sieze up which generated a spark which arced across the control module and caused the car to stall. Typical 914.

Is the other car even moving? There doesn't seem to be too many people on the sidelines watching it. Maybe a few folks checking out a photographer?

Nah, since GT's don't have the motorized headlights or rear window defoggers, he is probably looking for a fuel pump relay. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He was so far ahead in his reliable Porsche, that he pulled over to take a rest while the rest of the field caught up. He would then have someone to race with and not be so bored leading!
OR He was an ex-Nascar driver and is headed into a right turn and didn't know what to do, so the stopped for instructions. |

Probably some dumbass spectator drove out there on the track in the middle of the race just to snap a quick shot. Kinda like a streaker on the field at a superbowl.

The car was leading it's class until Dietrich Krumm hit the guard rail during the 15th hr. of the race, braking the pass. side axle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Andy PS: if you look closely at the pic, you can see the pass. side of the car is all banged up ... |
