I could tell it "wasn't" you because of the uber cool "MS Word Script Font". You would never allow that on your creative pallet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Pretty sure that signature font is from your buddy up North a tad... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)

Not this far north . . . that is Scotty's own brand of genius.

I couldn't agree more Scotty! It's amazing the friendships we make through these cars. Good people all around!
And thanks for the Kahiko Customs shirt. I plan on wearing it to EVERY Porsche event I attend.....

I'd be very happy to be the test mule on these new calipers Erc. I can run them through a gammmmmutt of testing to make certain the Al. is indeed strong enough not to flex and breake ( it's not misspelled, it's a 2 fer word ). I'll even put my life on the line for PMB's reputation and take them oot on the track at speeds exceeding 20 m.p.h. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Of course by the time I am finished testing, the set you send me won't be much good to sell so I'll just hang them on the wall next to my PMB shirt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Looking forward to gtting you some test results mi amigo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Erc Nino and I tested the calipers at about 20x operating pressure yesterday. .002" flex over steel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) They didn't leak or break or nuth'in. We're ready...

QUOTE(scotty b @ Nov 30 2012, 06:40 AM) *

Over the years I have gotten to know many people on this site, and have made a lot of friends that I have yet to actually meet. In that time I have not only had business transactions with Eric, but have also had a lot of joking around online. Online friendships can seem kind of lame at times due to the stereotypes that we laugh at of the loser with no real friends but a whole world of " cyber friends ". But many times on forums like this, there are real friendships created despite never having actually met and hung out, but occassionaly you get to meet that dork on the other end of the keyboard. This past April at Hershey I finally got to meet Eric and hang out, discuss cars, music and life over a few beers ( even though he was too good to stay at the roach motel the rest of us love so much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)) Anyway, the dork I had been joking with over the years, and the brake master I had been dealing with over the years, actually turned out to be a really decent, genuine persont I consider to be a good friend now, not just another "cyber friend "

Fast forward to today. I went to the post office this morning to pick up my mail and had a strange package with a return address I didn't notice right off. Upon opening it I found that Eric had sent me one of the new PMB t-shirts he had made up. I just wanted to publicly say thank you to a good friend, and I feel honerd that he thinks enough of my business and reputation to have me represent his business. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Here's to you Erc. I'll wear it with pride (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I just saw this and could not stop laughing. Finally, the wife came in to find out what was so funny. Keep in mind that she does not like 914world because it takes up too much of my time, but I showed her this post, and she was cracking up too. Brilliant.

I'm going to guess that if Scotty and Erc wanted those matching tats, we could probably start a fund raiser here on 914world!

And if they don't want them we will just fundraise more to pay for someone to hold them down while they get them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
