When I purchased my second 914 in 2012 (I would not have predicted that would happen), it came with its 1.8 engine and transmission. Both are for sale. See below for pics of the engine (please note the $314.00 is price of the engine without the transmission.

Thanks to responders for input to make this more clear. I will get the info and add to the listing.

I need to confirm engine size and locate the AFM. Will then post pics.

Black label 'Brain unit' is a 74 1.8...
should be a 6 pin configuration....
at the cable end plug, that goes to the Air Flow
Module Control....count 6 contacts...
other than that, get the engine # below the
oil fill....that will square it up quick...
like the guys said..Great price as is...
if it does not move..
highly consider to part it out...
good luck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
OH BTW...A 1.8 with A/C (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
what were dealers thinking??

QUOTE(shawn914 @ Dec 1 2012, 04:32 PM) *

When I purchased my second 914 in 2012 (I would not have predicted that would happen), it came with its 1.7 engine and transmission. Both are for sale. See below for pics of the engine. These may not be of enough detail, but if anyone wants something specific, PM me and I will get an image. The PO stated it ran when he removed it (knowing the skills of the PO, he would know IMHO). PM any questions - not an engine expert but will answer as best I can.

Shawn

I am interested could you give me a call for details Thanks Mark 612-865-6920
