I had heard before that the complete engine weighs around 365 pounds. I just know I cant lift one all by myself.

Is it safe to assume not to lift it [2 people] from the heads or is it ok for a short distance?

I have lifted my engines from the heads and case all the time. Got to have a hand on the flywheel end of the case for a better balance. Adding a transaxle to the mix, well you better eat your wheaties.
