I know the V8 guys sometimes want these, flipped upside-down mid engine G50 and unknown 3.2 /6

JFYI - The G50 trans is technically to long for the 914/v8 configuration (not saying impossible but close to imp...). Even with a 4 speed/930 the shifter is beyond the rear valance. Changes need to be made to properly oil the ring gear/diff/main shaft, etc - do you have paperwork showing these modifications?

That's your (the buyers) job to figure out if it works. But I do know for sure it can be done, I've seen it, search 914world for member "aj racer". I don't know his present status, but he has a LS1 with a flipped G50 in a 914. I saw it here at my house 4-5 years ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Having dealt with Mr2002 on the board, i would think this was a C/L find in Cali and he is flipping it with no knowledge or history.
