Anyone able to measure the overall length of their car without bumpers? I'm trying to find out if I can fit my '73 1.7 into the freight elevator at my workshop, so I can do the restoration in a nice, large heated area.
I think I saw somewhere that the overall length with bumpers (depending if you have the tits or not) is around 159 1/2". My freight elevator has a depth in the mid-high 140's, so i'm just thinking I might be able to take off the bumpers to shoe-horn it in. Yet again another drawback of having a manufacturing business on the 3rd floor... |
