Dad's Delphi green mistress has the original factory option AM radio as illustrated in the 73 Porsche Owner's Manual(pg.16) He saved all the original documents- bill of sale shows $89.95 for AM radio, dealer key tag, ad brochure, maintenance record with dealer stamps- he was an engineer- what else would you expect! The radio is a push button with bar dial, the first that my 16 yr. old nephew had ever seen!

Even though the bill of sale shows a radio for $89.95, that doesn't mean the factory installed it. It just means the dealer charged your dad $89.95 for a radio. Only the window sticker, Cardex or Certificate of Authenticity would prove it was factory installed. |

If I remember correctly, when I picked up my new 1974 2.0 car at the dealer it had a Blaupunt Frankfort radio that was factory installed.
