Hi guys, quick question. I'm looking to start thinning out all of my extra parts and I came across an extra sideshift console (the part that the shift rod goes through at the transmission) that has a broken "ear" where the rod passes through. I replaced it early on when I bought the car, but before I throw it out - I'm curious what its made out of? I figured magnesium, but not sure. Is this something that someone could weld and repair? If so, let me know and its yours for the price of shipping and a beer. Don't want to throw out a part thats getting harder to find.
