The pictures show a 1.7. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) It has a paper filter air cleaner which was not available on 71 models. |

As with most of the 914s these days, that 1.7 has maybe seen some later modifications in the engine bay?
The Induction and spark plug locations say 1.7. The air filter looks to be 72 1.7, but I never learned where the actual cut off was on the filter change. |
