Too many units, too much beer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Nov 88 to... well... today.

Private to Staff Sergeant, until 1994.

Then I traded in work clothes for a coffee cup, and became a Warrant Officer.

Taday in Canada, Remembrance Day ceremonies are taking place everywhere at 11:00. I salute all who have served in the name of freedom, after the ceremonies I will raise a glass in your honour.

Thank you all.

I walked into work this morning with a nice message from a solder in my fathers unit. I'm so proud to be included in their thoughts. I regret having never served, but my father paid the ulitmate price. He was a LRP in the 101 Airborne.

Thanks again to all who served.

Ok.. We have the Army and the Air Force, Plus the Canadian Air Force checking in. Where is the Department of the Navy? We seem to be lacking in Navy and Marine Corps vetrans. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Navy I can understand... they just ride around in ships and sleep late. But the Marines? I thought they actually worked for a living. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif)

USMC 93-97
Two westpac cruises, one year in Okinawa, 3 in flight emergencies..

Most fun I've ever had!

The reason you don't see many Marines here is easy to explain. Less than 1/2 of one percent of the US population has claimed the title....

Hey Clay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif) As for the marines, well their pay checks are endorsed by the Department of the Navy....

A lotta water passed under my keel.
A lotta fun,a lotta learning,and a lotta growing up.
A great experience I'm proud to have been a part of.
I just wish I'd had enough for sight to have stayed in til retirement.
