The problem with the single progressive on a 914, is that someone made a kit, it bolts up, and it's cheap; so somehow it's gotta work right?
The single progressive will always fail to perform in one way or another. The only way those things do OK, is at cruising speed with a constant CFM. You can tinker with the jetting, and if you find the intake manifolds with smallest runners you can find, it will help. Nothing will ever make it work right, or give you close to optimum performance. |
