Are these for an early or late engine bar setup?

Those plates work with both early and late engine bars. They are also used at the trans mounts in the rear for all years . It is the cupped washers that are different on an early cross bar. They have a notch in the early ones to clear the engine bar.

this post shows the complete hardware for engine or trans mounts.

Those are for tail-shift outboard engine support bars (70 ~ 72). Side-shift engine support bars have rubber mounts at the engine and the outboard mounts are 'U' channel type.

They can be used on all years for rear transaxle OEM mounts.

Don't use outboard rubber mounts on engines using side-shift style engine mount bars.
