I'm no fan of American road cars; however, a properly set up hunk of American iron with the torque and HP of a V8 can make a good showing.

Great video! Though I recognize almost all the cars in the race, I can't place the small dark blue car with orange trim. It has similar lines to a 904, but I don't think it is.

Does anyone recognize what it is.

And yes, the Howett turbine car does use a helicopter engine. Gotta love the old Can-Am series where anything was legal and encouraged! Kind of the old days at Indy where turbine cars, dual engined cars, etc. we're tried. Not the spec series it's now become.

When the circuit was still open as a public road I took my 914 round a couple of times.. not much you can do with a 2.0 and a car full of luggae stuff and two up...

Great video! The cars, the sounds. Years ago, I was lucky enough to get a ride with Jan Magnussen in a C6 Z06 Vette around Spa...at night. Eau Rouge is a real sphincter check! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/KMA.gif) He stopped giving rides after he hit a rabbit at full tilt and grenaded the spoiler.

Yes I was trying to think what it could be too, thinking it was a Lotus? It was hauling fairly good either way!

That would make some sweet ring tones!

I helped a guy restore a Hemi cuda years back. TORK MONSTERS! You could pull on to i5 north and shift out of 2nd way over the speed limit. That is a cool video.

Great video! I don't think I have ever seen Spa without some rain coming down at least somewhere on the track.
