So, the other night, an... 'underprivledged member of society' (read: crackhead) pan-handled me, as I came out of a store...

Conversation follows:

UPMS "Yo Cuz!"

Me "Yeah..."

UPMS "Could you spare some change, to help me out?"

Me (reaches into pocket) "Uhh... all I have is $0.11, you can have it if you want."

UPMS "Yeah, anything would be great..."

-I hand him eleven cents-

UPMS "Yo, I haven't seen one of those in a long time.... Fiat, right?"

Me "Yeah, Fiat..." -thinks: "Give me back that eleven cents, asshole."-

If I had known those were coming up, I'd have saved my change..

I thought these were rather rare...people used to put them on beatles and stuff. I think they'd be a great buy for kicks.

In the early 70's the dealers offered a hubcap set for the steel
wheels that looked very much like the factory 5 lugs.
From a few feet away it was hard to tell they were hubcaps.
They had lugnuts and everything.
They were so close looking that you had to be careful if you ever
took your car in for service and had the wheels removed. I actually
saw one of the "lugnuts" in the cap torn off by a guy
that tried to use an air wrench on them.
And this was at the dealership that actually sold them!

Anyone else remember these?
