I am sure this will get some interesting responses BUT (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
At Hershey a few years ago I saw a pedal powered toy of a 911. This one was metal and simple in design. IF anyone knows where I can get one please let me know. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) I have been looking on my own since but have not been able to find one. My son is getting old enough now to enjoy a toy like that.. Plus I think I can do a four conversion on it for next summer...Nice power to weight ratio (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Kerry |

You can get pedal cars at the dealer (Porsche Selection)
IIRC they're not metal though... |

Another option for the "restoration guy" is to buy an old PowerWheels 911 Turbo. I bought one for my son for under $300.

i rewired a barbie jeep so it did 23 mph, it wound up melting the plastic tires, so the owner put taller tractor wheels and tires. with the rubber tires it could still spin em but it was slower to speed and could hit 26 mph with some room to run. it used a small deep cycle battery and could run at speed for 30 mins. i would say it increased the weight buy about 30 lbs
