Sources have indicated that someone who shall remain nameless but has the initials "Mike Ginter" is going ahead with plans to mount 39 Cheby headlights on his ride. Some go with Cheby engines and others... well.

Hmmm... maybe they'd go with the Chevy truck billet grille I have on my car.

Despite the fact that I love the way a 928 drives on the highway, I never did like the headlight setup. You get all the complexity of a hidden headlight, but the headlight is exposed to rocks, road debris, and any falling object 24 hours a day. With the setup on the 914/924/944, the headlights are covered during driving in daylight, and are not subject to the abuse the exposed headlights on a 928 could potentially receive.
Just my $0.02 Hey Ginter.. you gonna use the old Chevy hood that I can see in the background? |

Could this be a picture done in fun just to see what it'd look like? Maybe seeing if it looked like the Cibie lights they used on racers? I hope so.

Gint,
I'm more fond of the 39 Pontiac than the Chevy, but if that's all you've got! oooh 39 Ford Tail lights! that would be cool, too! |
