It's a 1.8 ljet . The wire is black coming from the FI harness.

The 1.8 should have the single white wire from the injection to the coil (-) terminal, and I can see it in your picture. There should also be one wire plugged into the coil's (+) terminal. That one goes to the double relay. Perhaps that is your mystery wire?

Check the continuity of that wire before just assuming, though.
