I'm working on building the hardware kit for the 1969-1972 914/6 and the 1969-1973.5 914. I had a few questions that I was hoping to get some feedback on. The charcoal canister has a couple of hose clamps and several NLA "tie wraps" that appear to be missing from several cars.
My questions are: Should the hose clamps be included in the kit? Should the NLA "tie wraps" be included in the kit? I do have several sources in the Europe for the right size/length "tie wrap", but I would like to get as close as possible to the original. So, can someone please post a picture of the NLA "tie wraps" that show the texture and ratchet mechanism? Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) |
