Hahaha yeah it helps out alot. And if I have to run to the parts store I can just take the carpet.

Nice looking car. Looks like it would be a good Daily Driver once you get it sorted. Good Luck.

I think 72 still had the oil bath intake that was originally designed for the early VW bugs. You should look to get a 73 or later intake assembly that uses the paper filter.
