QUOTE(vsg914 @ Nov 19 2004, 02:27 PM) I'v driven my 75 to Albequerque twice. Once on the way to San diego, and once on the way back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Never broke down. Have a good bud in the las vegas/ watrous area I've driven my 914 there twice as well. 8 hours from Tulsa. He lives on the Pecos river, off 116(?) Here's a pic of me crossing the river to get to his house. Then ya drive thru and ghost town to his house. Cool place. I'd be up for the drive over if the time was right. That picture is a classic. I would never do that with my car, but it's an awesome picture nonetheless. Have you hosed out the longs since that event? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) |

The water was only 3 inches deep, but the ridiculous spoiler I had at that time had only two inches of ground clearance. I got tired of repairing it and tossed it in the dumpster! Hangover cure. Three bloddy mary's, and some good bud. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) BTW, I'm very serious about the drive out. |

I might be down...I did a 1200mile trip this year...whats a few more? I will probably need to add some sound deadining for the next one though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and maybe swap out the race seat for something a little more comfortable...but who knows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
At least keep me on the list... Tony (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |
