I was taking some pictures to see what else I need to clean up on my 1976 and came across this date on both front disk covers. I guess it from the factory when it was complete. my assembly date is November 1975. As we all know the last 914 was build in December 1975. I think I will not repaint these, I may clean them up and clear coat them.

The date is the completion date of the strut assembly would be my guess. In the factory pictures they showed the complete assembly with brakes ready to install on the cars.
