Check out 9 people on ebay with more money than brains...

I appreciate auto recyclers but SilverStar always tries to get the most $$$ for what is usually crap.

It will sell for about 7k. It would make a perfect race car (PCA club racing). I want to know where the "hockey" stick went for the tranny (shift rod for the tranny internally) it should be hanging out of the box.

This is hilarious:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...PI.dll?ViewItem

HPH has over 450 of these in different colors (with letters)

I should flood Ebay with them at 10$ apiece.

Holy Crap, I could sell all of the lids that I have at the "Buy it Now" price and buy a new Cayenne Turbo.
The seller is in Portland? Maine or Oregon?
One of those rain trays sold on ebay a while ago for $76.00 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

This car would be a great project and is perfect for restoring. Good Luck.

ha.....
gotta love that escort.
sorry I don't have a link or pictures to add, but I've got a story..

I new these kids back in high school. Their dad owned a junk yard and built crazy one offs in his spare time.
(455 chevette, with the engine in back.. etc)

so the 2 brothers, get a couple of pinto hatchbacks running in the yard... pull the doors and front seats..
dad helps em, cut 30 inches out of the shell... basically you sit in the back seat.

They used to race them around the yard, until they finally died...

Hey at least you have a CAR now Mueller! You'll get it running.

I think the Escort beats even the rolling coffin dragster.
